Milton Township 2025: Serving You!

What did serving the residents of Milton Township look like in 2025? Milton Township's focus was on essential services, including food relief, emergency response, and financial support. Improved communication with residents also played a key role, making it one of their most successful years to date.

After taking office in May 2025, your Milton Township leaders concentrated on fulfilling our commitments—responding to residents’ needs while responsibly managing the tax dollars entrusted to them.

Food relief programs expanded significantly, with local donors and volunteers collaborating to provide nutritious food and hygiene supplies to families in need. The community collaboration was especially prevalent during the SNAP benefits shutdown. In 2025, the Milton Township Food Pantry served over 13,000 individuals and distributed a total of 33,000 pounds of food.

The work and training of the Milton Township CERT team resulted in annual savings for various DuPage residents. In 2025, CERT completed over 9,600 hours of service and saved DuPage County taxpayers more than $333,000. Milton Township offers assistance to individuals struggling to pay rent, mortgage payments, utility bills, or other emergency expenses. They have saved over $84,000 to community members in need in the past seven months.

Additionally, community outreach initiatives, such as the Milton Township Highway Department's app, have helped identify residents who require assistance, ensuring that the needs of all community members are met.
